Airbag

Airbags have been mandatory in cars since time immemorial. They are also emerging in greater numbers for motorcyclists. From fully stand-alone systems packed with technologies, to the simpler vests that you attach to your motorcycle with a cord.

Airbag systems

What should I consider when buying an airbag system?
What was a dry landscape only two years ago is now a flourishing oasis of new products. The three different options within this category are the fully integrated system in which airbag and jacket or suit are combined, the separate airbag which can be combined with an airbag-prepared motorcycle jacket, or the separate airbag that can be combined with any desired motorcycle jacket or suit.

In addition to the choice between the three variants, there are two points that should be taken into account. In the case of Alpinestars, for example, there are two airbags, one aimed at the track and the other at street use. There is also a difference between the airbags that are equipped with a gyroscope and the variant that rely on a trigger type that must be attached to the motorcycle.
